Ouch, my back hurts just thinking about it.

That one looks to be full grown, what did the scales say? I'm going guess pushing close to two if not over.

A trick I learned on an African safari of all places. Works great with a 4 wheel drive truck. Shovel holes behind your rear wheels and then back the truck up. The rear end will drop and the tailgate will act like a ramp.

We used that trick back when dad would load cattle onto the back of the truck.

more and more of the dog food on pallets has a bottom layer of sliding plastic one side slippery the other is rippled....looks like what you used

Just remembered, don't try that on Florida sand though, especially if all you got is a one legged truck.

make up a plank , it helps when you can just drag up the incline

It's crazy but them deer want to be anywhere but on that darned sled, but if you can keep them on it,it makes the drag a whole lot better, I went a half to 3/4 mile and didn't have to stop till I got back.couldn't imagine the drag without it.

good buck there,concrats, like Greencountypete says use a helper incline for loading into back of truck. i keep a 4x6 piece of plywood in pickup box in fall just for that. Happy New Year.
