After 208 years Remington Arms is leaving New York and moving to Georgia. Remington said it's like New York has lost its soul.

To quote Andrew Cuomo "we do not want businesses like that in NY." Easy for a NYC ahole to say that while hundreds of people lose their jobs in one of the poorest counties in the state. The state is corrupt morally and politically.

When I started working there in 1975 Remington employed 2300 people at that facility. It was a 24/7 operation.
Bought and sold twice, run into the ground by investment bankers.
None of the original workers remain.

What a shame ...this state has no incentive for big business to stay ..
I feel for all those people to lose their jobs ..
NY state is a sinking ship ..the politicians have ruined our future here ..
Every day more and more are moving out ..
