Was in the high 60's here today, great evening to cook some fish.

That looks great. I may need to get the campfire going next weekend and cook some. Over an open fire is the only way I will cook them.

I like Northerns the best, but I won't pass on walleye either.

Looks great, Flipper! I definitely love them both the same. I do love boning northerns though. Lots of folks don't!

I agree, northerns are easy to clean and remove the Y bones, and worth the extra work.

Most people who don't keep northerns because of the Y bones. If they would learn how to remove them, they would find northerns are good eating. Although, I prefer walleyes to northerns. My favorite fresh water fish to eat would be perch. I have friend whose favorite fish to eat is smallmouth bass, if you can believe that. I think his taste buds are shot. That is one fish don't care for. I never keep them whenever I catch one.
