Old Art was a joy to visit with when we had the chance. Last I spoke to him he was still working cats. Another good man gone.

RIP Art... I worked with Art on a number of occasions... back yonder in the 1970's. I was the a State Game protecter and art was always willing to give a helping hand in teaching children and others the art of trapping.

Here is a poor quality photo of Art, teaching, I believe, a 4H group...

I wrote the article that accompanied the photo, which I believe was taken by Lowell Goodrich the editor of the Outdoor Beacon Paper, in Oak Harbor, Ottawa County, Ohio.

As said a hero, 99 % of todays population dont know the sacrifices of D day survivors and ones that didnt make it. Art is at the trappers camp in the sky sharing stories with Herb Lenon, Charlie Dobbins ect..... RIP Art.

RIP Mr. Scott, what a life to have lived. I did not know him or his legacy, I just read his obituary. Heaven is a little better today!

Art’s place in Ashland Oh was the first trapping supply house I ever went to. Usually fed Art dinner at any convention we happened to both be at .
