Not what I expected today

The three major stock indexes are up and the price of crude dropped a little.

I assumed Iran’s attack on Israel would have caused the exact opposite moves.

Gold is down a bit today also. This is not what you would generally expect after something like what happened in israel over the week. However, I think the price had already been baked in during the last half of the week.
And now, since it doesn't look like the attack was indication of a full scale war, there is a sense of ease.

Stock gained disappeared by 1pm when I looked again.

Beer is Holding....

gold & silver both up today.
silver closing in on $30 and gold is closing in on $2500....maybe by weeks end.

Makes sense because the uncertainty has now been removed. The attack is over.

The issue now though is that bond yields are jumping again and that is pushing equities down in the afternoon

But Israel said they WILL retaliate.

Just bizarre to.me that Iran runs their attack by us first, then we tell Israel.to show restraint.
Sort of like how we told Russia a limited incursion into Ukraine was is OK.

I'm so glad the adults are in charge...

Market makers fooled the retail traders again

Actually it was the census bureau that fooled just about everyone.

I did good with KAVL this am. Owned it for 90 minutes.

Must have softened over the day. My major short ETF went from losing to gaining money by day's end. I've enjoyed last Friday and today
