Reloading suppliers - 04/16/24 09:51 PM
If anyone has any info on good reloading suppliers, I'm all ears. I've used Midway, Grab A. Gun, Mid South, Palmetto State, and Brownells. Had a customer suggest Ballistic Products Inc. today. Never ordered from them, but they are only 50 miles from me and have a few things I need. Any experience with them or others is appreciated.

I've used them before, no issues.

Although, I still can't find lead that's not priced like gold!

BPI is in my back yard, so I use them a lot, especially when I need it NOW.
I've never regretted it.
They are primarily geared for shotgun, but I'm assuming right up your alley.
Check their "load of the week". Or, just ask them for a good starting point for your applications.

For lead check out Salvage Yards. All the ones I’ve ever checked had some. Usually cheap.
Recently bought all my local scrapyard had.
235 lbs for $80.
Brownells has $0 Hazmat Fee on All primers & powder orders, this week only.

I've used/use all the above accept for BPI.
I try to wait til they have free shipping over $99 etc to order and got another 10% discount as a "birthday gift"
Just ordered some Duke 650 pro's from Midway with free shipping today.
They're all about the same price wise, so catching the free shipping and hazmat is a big plus.

I should have specified shot, unless that's what you're referring to. I do appreciate the heads up though!

I would guess scrap lead, not shot. If you find any shot under $2.00 a pound you better grab it. Haven't seen any cheaper than that for at least two years.

Brownell's shipping costs seem to be lower than others although their time to ship is not so fast.

So far there have been some good deals at Raven Rocks Precision.
