Things to do in Houston

My wife and I are in Houston for the XO marriage conference and we are looking for things to do around here. Any suggestions? Probably going to check out the space center

The Renegades play the Roughnecks there on Sunday. It should be a heck of a game.

From what I see on the news about crime there....just staying alive while out in public might be a feat.

Herman zoo is not bad

There’s a pretty cool aquarium , with an attached restaurant. We ate there and then walked around to see the exhibits. There’s a big tank of sting rays that you can feed and touch. I’d recommend it.

Take the highway that goes along the beach south of Galveston. Always something cool to see there.


Texas City Dike is a popular shore fishing area, and you'll probably see dolphins .


The Arcola feed store has the best local honey I've ever tasted.

Surviving is the number one goal. Be careful driving--the traffic is crazy.

There are some great restaurants in the better parts of town.

Heck of a wholesome place for a marriage conference. Planners were definitely on point, Lol.

Pipeline bar and grill is amazing food !

… my advice would be to head up my way and go to the zoo in Lufkin

Space Center Houston , Herman Park Zoo and Museum of Natural History are all good.

Find a "Catfish Kitchen" restaurant and get the all you can eat frog legs.If they still have them there.Savell would know.If they are having any Rodeos,,go to that.

Go to Walmart and count all the illegals that enter.

Atlanta and Houston are tied for the worst drivers in the continental U.S. (my qualified opinion). Drive careful.

Best thing to do in Houston is leave!
