Prayer request - 01/19/25 01:52 PM
Going under the knife at 5:30 tomorrow morning, to have a knee replacement.
A good friend's wife passed away from a blood clot, after her knee replacement.
Just found that out last weekend.
Got me a little 'gun shy', to say the least.
Your thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all for looking.

Charlie you've got this in the bag ! And will have nothing but great results !
Ironically I just had two blood veins plugged in my left leg that were leaking making me a prime candidate for congestive heart failure ! A quick fallow up ultrasound the next morning showed no blood clots floating around anywhere and proper blood flow as to be expected following a successful procedure .
If this worked for me I expect success for you as well ! Thursday the Dr will go after the two veins in my right leg that are causing problems as well !
I've noticed a improvement after this first surgery because I can get my shoes on easier just like you will be walking better shortly after you're surgery also !
My intention isn't to sidetrack you're post but to offer words of encouragement and to let you know I also will be putting in a good words for you when I talk to the Big guy upstairs ha ha !

Prayers sent Charlie, I had both mine replaced, only regret was not getting them done sooner. Amazing the pain we can get used to. Do as you are told, follow instructions and therapy instructions. Ice is your friend it helps immensely with swelling and pain. Good luck
