Dakota Line LoPro snare locks

Any opinions on the Dakota Line LoPro snare locks?

I prefer the slim locks but I've used a lot of the bullet locks of which the lopros are copies of.

No they aren't, they are if anything a shorter micro lock.

Les, I thought they looked great and were smooth sliding on the cable, but when I used them they did not lock down and the animals were still alive (fox and coyote) or pulled the snares back off themselves (raccoons). This could be attributed to deer stops, but they should lock down against it and not back off IMO. In HEAVY entanglement they are ok but the micro locks, if you want that style of lock, are heads and shoulders better than the LoPro locks. Mini-Cam Locks are the best if you can legally use them, they would be my first choice.

Why? If you have a specific reason maybe someone can suggest the right lock, but the LoPro ain't it.

To meet regulations, in particular "single-piece" as well.

Arkansas took "relaxing" out of the regs. Look it up.

IMO, for a one piece lock - BMI mini locks, if you can find them, or sure locks would be your best options, maybe mini pro locks (look to be copies of the BMI mini locks), but I haven't used them to be sure, they do look good. https://fntpost.com/product/mini-pro-snare-lock?gQT=1

And on a side note why do they have to name so many different snare locks with nearly identical names? lol

Yes I'm aware of this. Single-piece lock still required (in Arkansas).
Arkansas isn't the only place for these snares. And sometimes it's better not to have a dead animal for which a relaxing lock is helpful (not as helpful as no entanglement, but helpful).
This isn't my first attempt at snaring, just my first consideration of the Lo-pro.

Any thoughts on the Dakota Line LoPro snare lock? I am looking for single-piece, relaxing-style lock opinions with my particular interest towards the Dakota Line Lo-Pro. I guess the pc term might be "cable restraints". These will be for multiple, select situations with no entanglement. Lock up? Damage? Wind resistance? Subject to icing? Miss rate? They look a lot like Micro locks or the old Grawe's Bullet locks to me in pictures, but I haven't held one.
