Yes I'm aware of this. Single-piece lock still required (in Arkansas).
Arkansas isn't the only place for these snares. And sometimes it's better not to have a dead animal for which a relaxing lock is helpful (not as helpful as no entanglement, but helpful).
This isn't my first attempt at snaring, just my first consideration of the Lo-pro.

Any thoughts on the Dakota Line LoPro snare lock? I am looking for single-piece, relaxing-style lock opinions with my particular interest towards the Dakota Line Lo-Pro. I guess the pc term might be "cable restraints". These will be for multiple, select situations with no entanglement. Lock up? Damage? Wind resistance? Subject to icing? Miss rate? They look a lot like Micro locks or the old Grawe's Bullet locks to me in pictures, but I haven't held one.
