I think the cubs have a solid competitive team this season..I believe they will take the central division this season.. but I don’t think they are World Series material yet.

Cards are in 1st place because they have started out playing a soft team,, cubs have unfortunately been playing some very well stacked teams which puts them 2 games out.

We are playing more small ball, steal bunting... we had the speed last year but we played Larussa ball and wait for the Homer, everyone swung for the fences. Example jordan walker was sent down after a 12 game hitting streak and spreading the ball all over they wanted him to have more launch angle... that's dumb ruined his swing trying to get him to hit more homeruns
Victor Scott already has a 3rd of the steals in 3 games, then last year at the all star break our leading base stealer had 12 or 14 maybe I believe. And that guy didn't even start out the season.. was stupid the baseball concept we have had years before. Hopefully it's a changing trend

However starting rotation sucks we have a ton of young arms I wish they bring up, buy they are waiting for the old arms to wear out and get hurt is what the main guy says. Ya lol the cards didn't last long, the hitting is better... still don't have a manager that can manage people. Contreras is like 3 for 30 something and we have him in the 3rd slot, because that makes sense. New to first base but jumped and cut a ball off yesterday that shouldn't had been because it was a dot to the catcher to have a chance for a play to not score a run. Starting rotation is going to start showing it's age! Miles only went 3 innings and gave up 7! Didn't do jack during the off season.. they are becoming what I figured they would be! Our bullpen that carried us last year hasn't showed up yet.

Although it’s very early yet,, the Cubs aren’t looking to badly,,, 2-3 from the padres isn’t too shabby.
Tucker for bellinger was a good trade…. So far at least.

It is early, but never had high hopes for my team.

Lots of hitting and runs scored to date. We will see if offense will be the continued dominent aspect of the game this season. Lot of ERAs are already off the charts. Brewers are 5-5 after losing the first five and giving up 50 plus runs.

I hope ADC gets to bring the broom out as the Cubs and Phillies are going for sweeps today. Thus far in April the Cubs have been impressive, they have an extremely difficult schedule for the month and have been well over .500 to this point.

Wow lot of runs being scored so far this season. Hitters usually take a few weeks to warm up. ERAs will be high this year if this keeps up.

Well we are what we are below .500 team. Good news, is I see the manager maybe acting like he wants out as much as the fans want him out, i believe there is a ton of pressure and slack coming from the city stl.. So maybe just maybe the front office will have him gone by all star break.

Bad news, reports have said they won't look into stl people fan base and that chance bloom will go get his own people, and seen one report that wouldn't be surprised if he pulled Alex Cora from the red socks. From what I've seen of him, they can keep him. I like to see our 1st base coach stubby clapp get a chance. He won two titles in triple a when he was manager. But not sure if he would want it if it was offered. Wouldn't mind seeing skip Schumacher, coming in. However if oli goes he can take Blake the pitching coach with him.

It is hard to believe but about one fourth of the season is history already. The Phillies had a good road trip winning 5 of 6 games. Now they get to play the red hot Cardinals who have an eight game winning streak.

6 of those were vs, the Nats and Pirates, NL. Their schedule is about to get tougher... I'm confident the Phillies will end that streak. Hopefully the Cubs will be able to take advantage of their weaker schedule as well.

I think it is about time for Harper to go on a tear.

Brewers manager really making some headscratching moves with the bull pen. They try 3 or 4 relief pitchers every game until they find one that finally blows the save instead of sticking with one that is getting outs.

Steve stl does that same crap. The game has became number and odd generated anymore. No gut feelings.. number can account for so much but not human error, and some days you just don't have it to get an out... but the guy before you came in struck out the side and ended the inning on 10 pitches but that's the one you'll take out.. and I'm sorry but they are always saying,you don t want to over pitch your bull pen.. these guys train, condition and make bukos they can pitch more then 3 batters in a 3 day time span

The Phillies now have the best record in the National League, it would be nice if the season was over, still a long ways to go.
