Any Glass minnow trap experts ?

I am seeking info on a Vintage glass minnow trap I have. It is a Creek Chub Bait Company glass minnow trap with stand. Marked CCB Co. Any info when it was made and its value ? Ive searched the internet and ebay and found little if nothing on this one.

I don’t know the exact details, but it might be from the 60s or 70s, and if it’s in good shape, it could be worth a nice sum. You might want to check out some vintage fishing forums or get in touch with collectors who specialize in old gear.

If I wanted an account I would have created one long ago - I don't, hence I haven't.

Maybe look on Ebay. You get get a idea on value by just looking at sold items in that category

Yes, wire legs with a wire handle. Has a funnel entrance and a screw on metal cap with holes on the other end. Looks similar to the orvis minnow traps but is marked Creek chub bait co. I've seen many glass traps, but none of this maker.

Yes, I've checked ebay, but found no such trap. Many other makers, but not creek chub bait co.

I wonder if they work better than the wire mesh minnow traps. I haven't had much luck with those, catch more water snakes than minnows.

From what I've read the glass ones worked the best, but being glass , fragile and expensive weren't used as much as wire ones.

I don't see any minnow traps in that book....some reels they
Made......have to get in touch with the founders son.

I have looked everywhere I have thought and cannot find that one. I would say pretty rare and would guess its got some decent value.
