At a federal agent over immigration issues it turned out to be a DOJ attorney now he’s unemployed, hungry and has court date looks like he found out! lol

Give the sandwich to one of the K-9 doggies.

Tell the clowns to throw more of them.

I believe that was his biggest mistake his first term letting them stay rather then cleaning house when he took over. It did not serve him well to try to be nice it took time to root them out then they wonder why he purged a bunch this go around.

At least he will get charged, unlike the officer that shot and killed Ashley Babbit, who got away with killing an unarmed US citizen. If only she would have been black, DC would have burned during a peaceful protest.

Ashley Babbit got what she deserved as far as the rest of the rest that crossed the boundary barricades and broke into the capitol I would have stopped it quick and started shooting. A mob tears down your fence and threatens to hang and your family and then starts breaking your windows and coming into your house, I guess Squash and a bunch of other liberals are going to invite them to sit down for dinner. A real double standard being applied by the new queen.

Lol, depends on context, but food fights aren't real fights. Nobody should be getting arrested for assault with a sandwich.

I find it interesting that he started a “food fight” with the police and not Joe Republican. He was probably betting on the police just taking it vs being punched in the face. Guess he thought wrong. lol

Even if I squint a bit the food fight logic makes no sense. Who really overstepped it’s very clear the guy was a lawyer he’s just going to lie anyway.

Perhaps the DOJ attorney didn't lose his job just for throwing a Sub sandwich, but for being stupid enough to do so. Maybe the standard for DOJ attorney is, or should be, a bit higher than that.

So, as a citizen, if I get struck by a sandwich, I have a legal right to beat on the sandwich thrower ? Good to know!

If I shot someone through a wall that was not a direct threat at the time I’d be in jail for doing that not surprised where the justification is coming from.

Did you really just type this? Just a little context, the "mob", broke into "their" house, you can not shoot someone for going into "their" house. Also there was no rope seen or guns found anywhere but on the police. Babbit was murdered, period.

I’d bet if the sandwich guy was shot he’d be singing a different tune then at least with no wall between them they could claim a direct threat not that it would be real then. Just more Orange man bad TDS BS.

OK dude, yer a cop somebody disrespects you for about an hour, continuously getting in your face, then throws a sammie at you from close range. If you dont arrest the creep, he will continue to escalate the situation, I would have arrestred him sooner, before said sammich.

This clown hates authorities that’s clear, he will turn everything into what’s it’s not he ignores the problem then create a new one.Maybe he prefers his sandwiches toss at him. LOL It’s only complicated to this guy he’s just looking for attention ignore the guy!

I have no idea how you got selective law enforcement. And I voted for the orange fellow....
If I as a citizen can't get someone arrested for tossing a sammich at me, no agency should be able to. They are supposed to serve us, not themselves. That's the conservative stance on law enforcement.

The threats he made against the officers, while he was jumping around, before throwing the sandwich, were why he was charged with a felony. The threats alone could have got him one year in jail, per officer. Since he made physical contact, by hitting the officer with the sandwich, the penalty can now be as high as 10 years. The fighting during the arrest can get him even more time, up to 10 more years per officer physically contacted.

If he had just thrown the sandwich, without the threats and didn't resist arrest, the most he could have got was one year in jail.

He's likely not going to get much time out of this.

Watch the whole video from the time he was yelling at them from across the street to approaching them and getting face to face. They pretty much were ignoring him, which caused him to amp it up until he hit the cop (I believe a federal agent) with the sandwich and then took off running. The run away indicates he knew he crossed a line. A citizen should have stepped in and slapped him out of it and the whole thing could have been avoided.

Re: A clown throws a Subway sandwich - 08/18/25 01:57 PM

The District of Columbia has an out of control murder rate and the local government is not doing their job and have not done much for years. Federal law enforcement is an option there as it’s not a State.

Like it or not when law enforcement is on scene they are the authority that’s in charge someone has to be and they train for that job. In my view law enforcement has done an extraordinary job of doing their jobs with what little support the Left has given them over the last several years. Many cities just make a tough job tougher with the games they play and politicians can’t be trusted to support them and work against them often.

The lack of accountability has become dangerous today with punks throwing bricks, fire bombs, frozen bottles and commercial fireworks they still get away with too much but political correctness hinders enforcement efforts. If a group of thugs started tossing that stuff at you what would you do about it then? Many are paid activist they are not average citizens these are organized attacks with weapons being supplied to them the same with the gear they are wearing.

If they are paid warriors treat them accordingly being passive will just emboldened them to continue. If you’re a federal attorney high on whatever attacking law enforcement you probably need some other type of employment or treatment.

That's my favorite Subway sandwich too. I ate my first one as a sophomore in high school, on a friend's recommendation and have almost exclusively been eating those from Subway since.

You learn to never take any free food in my business you might get an oyster you don’t want with it. lol The neighbors dropped off some sweetcorn they live a couple miles down the road. Don’t see them often the daughter comes to the road never knew her growing up she says you want some sweetcorn? Not recognizing her I said “from who?” She said her dad’s name.

I apologized to her told her I did not recognize who she was and waved to her dad and thanked her after she said his name, old habits die hard I guess.
