so after 7 years I finally got a bear tag, and cant get a bear to come in ,have a big boar that comes thru, every 28-30 days but will not come to bait, I do a radio show every sat morning and one of my friends that is regular listener got a hold of me he has this bear at his camp,


last photo is where bear is marking the camp, you can see he's been doing it for a few years, with any luck I will shoot him tomorrow afternoon,

he things it well over 300, I'm thinking 200-250

what do you guys think, dress weight /?

well it was great to be back in the woods, didn't see any bears, but had four squirrels, 5 doe's and a porky pine that came in an ate most of the day, bear had been coming in for 10 days straight but quit now two days in a row that he miss, im hoping it was just the warm weather, time will tell, but the good news is i have one coming at a different spot

Yep Sam that looks like a good bear. Surprisingly with all the acorns a berries there are a lot of bears being taken. But I know there many bears also.

You can Kill (move a bait site like 100yds ...And usually that changes their nighttime schedule
