I guess he drove his vehicle into the church, started shooting and set the place on fire.

This guy seems to be an Iraq War vet who snapped. I'm not sure this is a case to score political points.

Yeah the NC shooter was a vet with schizophrenia. No word that I have found yet on the MI shooter.

My early take on the NC guy is vet, probably a good guy, been through heck, and got PTSD. Maybe some self medication and went off the deep end. Supposed motive from too much exposure to social media nonsense without a firm grip on reality.

I may be totally off base, but the current background noise of social is enough to trigger any of us, much less those with a loose grip.

I fear that it's going to get worse, possibly much worse, before it gets better.

Might be more to this one. It's a Mormon church, so maybe a hard core fundamentalist. Grand Bland is two hours from my doorstep.

The North Carolina shooter hung out at the pier/bar so probably something personnel.

That was my take, it sounded like a personal beef. Possibly gang related but one report I read said he believed the alphabet crew was trying to control or attack him. But that was just one report and just as likely to be the writer's personal slant.

Figure we won't get much until tomorrow on either of those shootings.

Crazy thing is that we've been lied to, propagandized and spun so much that nothing is to be believed these days and so many try to make sense of it all by spinning up theories to fit whatever they want to believe.

And we wonder why folks are going off the deep end.

No doubt. The Kirk shooting and the conspiracy of the belief of a non mourning widow on X shows there are a lot of nut bags out there.

Not to fuel the theorists but this is the same state where a conspiracy to kidnap the governor turned out to be a conspiracy of fibbies with the only civilians being ruled as not that bright.

So at this point anything goes.
