Is that the best job ever? Not physical and can be wrong 50% of the time and not get fired. They got it made.

Hand grenades, horse shoes and weather you only have to get close.

Guys that do long ranges forecasting for industry end farming, like weatherbell.com gotta be good because they're client based.

SO TURE, we had a good one for years, 20-plus, but now the morning one and the afternoon one are so different you would think it's two different states that they are talking about, and they are both WRONG!!!

Shoot, most can't get close in a 24 hour forecast...Check in the morning and by afternoon it's changed...again...

However, weather forecasting has gotten so much better in just the past couple of years. I'm sure it's because the algorithms get better with each passing day.
I use the app "Windy". Where I hunt and fish in SW Alaska the weather is extreme to say the least, Windy is very accurate for several days out, predicting wind speed and direction, as well as precipitation.

Ive got a friend that calls all the time every fall asking did you see how bad this winter is going to be according to the farmers almanac. I tell him I'll let you know how bad the winter was in april.it happens so often I tell my wife the weatherman is calling.

If it's in the Farmers Almanac, you can bet its wrong, lol
