Asking for a friend.
Would a 220 Belisle be suitable for targeting wolverine? I have my doubts, but would like to hear from guys with experience.

Wouldn’t be my first choice but I have caught them in 220 and it was fast dispatch. If it was all I had or could use legally I wouldn’t hesitate. I will add this has only happened twice. Sets for otter over holes accessing abandoned beaver houses, non belisle traps. Cable not even stretched tight.

280 is the trap of choice for me but I've caught one in a 160 and a few by the paw in 120's

280 is the smallest size I would consider setting targeting wolverine. If you don’t have 330’s and plan to make sets using rotating jaw traps for gulo, buy some. It’s about using the right tool for the job.
