Draw tags

Anyone get draw tags?

I got skunked again.

Finally got drawn. First time in 10 years. DC827

Drew a kodiak road system goat tag!!

nada, again, lol!

It took me 37 years of applying to draw a bison tag. If my luck is holding, I'm due again about the time I turn 93!

Keep that in mind; I'll need some help packing out!

I hate being told No.

After they released those captive Totonka upriver I was buying fur there from a buddy in Holy Cross. He told me he was riding along and hit something hard on his snowmachine and almost threw him over the handlebars.

He looked down and saw he hit what looked like a muskrat pushup, he looked around and there were lots of muskrat pushups in the grassy meadow.

Then he realized they were frozen piles of Buff scat

Don't want to hit those he said.

Would love to hunt one around here, but not in my lifetime.

I drew a goat tag DG345 out of Seward
My daughter drew a any bull tag in an area we have to learn
And my son drew a cow tag for around the house.
So it's going to be a busy fall.

If anyone has any tips for goat hunting I'm all ears this will be my first go at it.

Wife and I are doing the DC827 hunt as well. This is the second time I have drawn this tag, and the first time we both have drawn it after 10 years of trying. Going to be a fun hunt!

Other than that, I made my traditional tithe to the ADF&G gods.

Edit: As a side note, I saw ADF&G is returning tag fees for the cow moose hunts in 20A. I was surprised to see that, even though I figured they would cancel those hunts due to the snow and weather here this year.

OTC Elk in Idaho for me...still waiting to hear about Maine and New Hampshire Moose draw.

I know it's not Alaska. Maybe next year we'll decide to put in for something up North. Too many irons in the fire here still.

Might be able to help you out w/DF345, I drew the same hunt, have a big boat and a cabin out there.
