This was our Reply today to HF527 that attacks our fellow Iowa Sportsmen. WE CONTACTED OUR LEADERSHIP. It is vital that we as sportsmen no matter what our choice of opportunity may be, Support one another in our efforts to preserve, protect and ehnace our hunting Heritage!


Dear Friends

As a waterfowling organization of western Iowa, the Mo. Valley Waterfowlers Association strongly opposes HF 257. Senseless legislative bills that force more regulation of hunting ( Trapping ) is nothing more than an action to further damage our recreational sporting opportunities in this state and our hunting heritage.
We urge you and your fellow colleagues to strike down HF 257.
We do not need more regulations on an industry that has suffered extensively, damage imposed by the Anti Hunting Community & Anti Fur Community.
Further Regulations or laws will only damage our conservational efforts as sportsmen to invest in our natural resources. Again I ask for your help & Support to send HF 257 to the garbage can.

yep sounds like they want to end land use of conibears for coon. 5" doesn't give one much to work with and be efficant on coons. HIt it hard

Harvests will be lower if this goes through. Why, are they doing this, have there been too many accidents?
