My buddy caught this yesterday. Thought it was pretty neat. Guess it's a rarer trait

That is cool looking! In the face, it looks like a different species. Almost martenish. Of course I've only seen marten in pics, so nobody go too hard on me. COOL regardless! Thanks for sharing!

When I first received the picture from my buddy I looked it up to see what caused it...first article that came up was a psychologist who said all raccoons start their lives masked...when they start to become more comfortable in their own skin it starts to fade...they don't have to hide behind the mask anymore....so glad I wasted my time reading that one
