Jackarse meat for bait

Jackarse meat for bait - 02/23/18 02:35 AM

Horse meat for bait is common around here. Got 5 gallons of jackarse meat today and I am looking for ideas/opinions. Going to grind it up and then divide it up to use some as fresh, some as aged and some as tainted. If any of ya'll have used it what bait solution have you used. Years ago some guys around here mixed horse meat with O'Gorman's LDC, I believe, and hammered coyotes with it. Open to ideas and opinions. Happy Trapping

Wayne52 or SlimP or John Graham probably have worked with JA meat.
I'll bet any of the commercial bait solutions would work well with it like it does horse/deer/beaver/rat etc.

I'd PM all 3 guys I mentioned if it was me.

Had to put down a 30 year old pony for my mother in law. We used a back hoe and buried it 4 feet deep. That winter the coyotes burrowed all the way down to it. There were actual coyote tunnels. Guess they like pony meat.
