Jeff Dunlap Trap stands

Has anyone used the Jeff Dunlap trap stands for beaver foothold traps? I bought some but can’t get any traps to really sit stable. I tried MB750, CDR’s, TS85. None sit well. Is it something I’m doing wrong?

I bought 2 at our September convention, but haven't tested or tried them yet.

I got another 1 from someone else, and I intend to compare the 2. Offhand I can't remember where I bought the other 1.
