Been harvesting the sac oil from the beavers I've trapped and keeping it in pharmacy vial in the pocket of my waders. I noticed that its getting soured. Is that gonna make it better or worse for attracting other beavers?
Try it and let the beavers tell you if it is any good or not.

I always thought it smelled SOUR to start with!......yet I have some a few yrs old and still works well.

I have some that is over 10 years old. Its applied sparingly with a toothpick in mock toenail scrapes on trails coming out of the water. I honestly don’t know if beaver care how old it is. Get em in body gripsvevery time
After trying it several times it seems to work whether its soured or fresh. I guess they don't care either way.
