Favorite horse meat bait n urine.

To those who use horse meat based bait n fox urine whose do you like the best. I used Weiser’s last year, but that may not be a option this year. Not looking to stir the pot on Andy, just asking for other options this year.

Esche Lures, another Montana lure maker makes the best horsemeat bait I have used. I like a bait I can use a fork to remove out of the jar, not swill that you need to spoon out.
Not sure if they have a web page or not but always at the Montana conventions. He is also a member here at T-man.

I been using Keg Creek Kick A$$ horse meat predator bait with great results the last two seasons and I too have been using Weiser fox urine. Plan on using both next season.

cletis makes a great horse meat bait but weiser urine will always be my go to even if I gotta drive there and get it. A member on here used to sale a very reputable urine ryan something. Sorry but I'd pee in a jug before I buy from any of the big distributors again! Quality and I mean quality urine is underestimated. Suprisingly the best urine I ever used was summer collected urine! It stayed neck and neck with bladder urine I collected during season. Andys and waynes was the similar in side by side comparison. to me and the animals. Waynes single male yote might have been a touch better!

Tony my experience with summer collection urine was quite different. I wont sell summer collection urine as it will sour pretty fast.

The physiology changes in the animals from fall to winter and then spring to summer, and when it does it changes the urine quality/odor. Big difference between winter urine and summer urine.

I don't doubt theres a big difference in the over all chemical make up. And im not advocating guys to get it . That was just my experience with it. Maybe it was a fluke or a huge curiosity factor but I flat slayed yotes that season. And yes id try it again just to be certain. The souring I can stop with my freezer! usually freeze all my left over urine any how.

Keg creek makes a very good one imo

Apple road horse meat bait is very good .

I like Andy’s horse meat. I like the bait that Cletus has too.

I have tried both of these and they both work.

Marty's Keg Creek Kick (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman).

Appleroad is the only bait I would use, Clete is just up the road; and his stuff works.

But why would Andy's be hard to get?

Because I doubt Andy will have much of a lure business after this season for no more effort than he is putting into getting people that he owes caught up. It’s disappointing to say the least.

I haven't been paying attention I guess, didn't know he wasn't staying on top of it all. Result of his heart?

Andy will be in MO at the NTA rondy, you can get some Horse meat there, by the gallon if you'de like.

Good to know, Les. I don't need any though and I have to drive right past Cletis' house to get to Springfield. Been catching up with things on here and now have a better understanding of the comments above.

I believe Clint Locklear uses horse meat in his "Federales" bait. I was going to try that too.

Dobbins Bait solution has been good to me this year, I will be buying more of that too!!!

I see Wayne Derrick makes a horsemeat bait called DOA. I haven't tried it but probably wouldn't hesitate buying some to try. Anyone one here given in it a try?

That is LT’s bait. He use to sell it, I don’t know if he still does though.

Good! Never do business with a crook and the guys that support the crook.Maybe he is on his way to jail for fraud and stealing. and everybody else that is still supporting and communicating with him. If I wanted to spend $80 on nothing more than tainted horse meat,I would make it myself,a lot of suckers fell for that one,lol.
