Trapping for beginners. - 05/21/19 03:31 PM
Hello,
I'm looking for all advice on trapping coyote, fox, bobcat, coon, skunk, possum, badger, etc, etc, etc, so I can give beginners co-ordinates to this thread to help them get started. So if you have any advice, tips, tricks, secrets, sets, etc you'd like to share for beginners, post it here!
Thank you,
AuthorTrapper.

Join and support your local trapping organization, network with it's members, and see if someone will let you ride along with them for a day - a mentor can be the best and quickest route to success.

Do not listen to old Wives tales to much this not enough of this...
Like all things in life education and Hard work will get alot of place.
Hands on experience nothing better.
Like Danny said instructions pay. And do not cost.

Attend as many Conventions as possible. Many good demos especially on fur handling.
I could sure use the help of a beginner this fall.
