How do you store scat?

How you y'all store scat to keep it from molding or deteriorating?

What about during the season, what do you put it in? I trap for a full 4 1/2 months.

I just keep mine in those square plastic jugs that Costco sells chocolate coated raisins and peanuts in. Make sure you don't mix up your scat with anything chocolate coated . . .

put it in the freezer over the spring/summer in Ziploc bags, so only 1 week/months worth thaws at a time once removed from the freezer, and does not have time to mold before your finished using each bag

so you remove it in increments that you'll use in a certain time frame

The scat I secure from the last 8" of a bobcats colon is put in a clean 16 oz container and covered with bobcat bladder urine......

....OMG...its the catty-ist smelling stuff possible!

So is the stuff I scoop from the cat litter box.

Can you use cat or dog scat?

At the Missouri Trapper Convention last year or the year before Rusty Johnson stored his in a wire cricket basket you use for fishing.
