If anyone would make them again it would be WCS unless KB took that business with em up into the mountains when he retired.

My trapping partner and myself have about 250 KB's and still looking for them. I wish they would have made a KB 6.5. Kurt still owns the patent and it could be bought, I think

You ever have to install new springs on them? If so what do you use?

I never have and they still hold everything that steps in them. I have held mule deer, hogs, pronghorn and lions.

I have some that are modded out and they do a nice job. It would be hard for me to pick my top performing traps but the Montana coyote specials, the KBs, and the MB550s are the top 3. I love my Jakes but they are way heavy for a fox and my big DLS are not all that coon friendly.
