I sold some at a $12 average in December. Then the bottom dropped out of the market and I took kind of a hit at the Fur Harvester’s auction. A friend on the east coast sold to Zander and averaged a bit over $4 in March. But, and this is what many don’t understand, color, size, fur density and general leather quality also play into this. As well as how much a buyer is willing to speculate that he’ll be able to sell your fur for.

Don’t put to much stock in what other people have gotten for their fur.

Straight run of incidentals was $6 with teat sows out.
