First beaver

First beaver - 11/23/20 12:00 AM

I had never set for beaver. I got asked to help an older couple who live on a river. I’d say they’ve already lost at least 50 trees. I was glad to help. They were both ecstatic when they saw this today. 54lb male. Had another trap set off. Hopefully get it tomorrow.

Had to use drowners. The river wasn’t deep enough for 330’s at the banks.

I’m going to try. Never done it and no idea how to make the boards. Going to have to figure it out cause I got two more today.
