They are well built traps, gonna try a dozen this year.

I emailed about them and received a prompt response. The 6.5's are $35 each or $372 for a dozen plus shipping. Seeing Seldom's video on the trigger system bending and being impeded by wax makes me want to stick to other traps.

The baseplate and chain swivel setup is super intriguing, but I'm not 100% sold on the trigger system yet

Trigger system being impeded by wax happens if you don't separate the pieces after waxing. You wax, let it harden, then make sure you break the seal between these pieces after the wax has set up. Makes it slide as slick as any other trigger system. No different than working any other traps after waxing. Haven't seen a trigger system work after waxing without being cleared of wax. Unless you like catching your own fingers trying to hit a waxed night latch lol.

That has not been my experience or observation! The pan will slide up and down though with force applied but most pans will not freely drop down onto the contacts as they do before waxing even jacking the be-jesus out of it! I’m sure just dyeing there’s be no issue whatsoever but I wax. In another video I show the/my remedy for this. IMO it’s a great trap and I bought 1.5 doz more for this year. My Harris NDZ videos are made to enlighten trappers who are interested in purchasing the traps so that they are aware of the intrinsices of the traps before they spend their $$. I do not try to promote nor denigrate anyone’s products, I just try to enlighten!

Their #9s are $125 each, $720 for 1/2 dozen, $1375 1 dozen. Their 6.5s are $35 each, $198 1/2 dozen, $372 1 dozen. Their 5.5s are $30 each, $168 1/2 dozen, $312 1 dozen.

Those NDZ pans aren't supposed to "drop" like other traps. You know that from dealing with yours. You set it then bring the pan down to contact the arms. There's no travel per se once the animal hits the pan. Night latching it pretty much. I haven't seen any of the issues with mine that you've brought up. I'm really looking forward to Kim finding a supplier for cast jaws for these because it's going to dramatically cut down build time and cost. Most of the build time on these now is tied up in the jaws, then making the lams, then welding and installing them. Cast jaws will save him over an hour on each wolf trap just from that. I enjoy your YouTube videos, just putting out my experience as a rebuttal is all.

You may be more than just a wee bit biased, don't you think? If you guys will make a true wolf sized trap I'll add it to the collection as well. Those 750s just leave a lot on the table to be desired in freeze/ thaw conditions. Pass that along. I know it won't get far in these times when help and materials are both nonexistent though.

I’ve got a NDZ wolf trap I’m setting this year. It’s an absolute beast. I’m a fan of the system as I’ve tried to make it fail every way I can think of. It hasn’t yet. I’ve set it and fired it I bet 200 times and at every angle and approach. It gets my vote, as do many other traps. I’ll bet the cost comes down eventually. Then again, with the way the price of materials is going….
