I like the concept, but are the springs under pressure? I'd definitely have to convert to usable though, lol!

Nice job, TS-85 is my favorite trap to use for clocks. The Bridger #5 dls is also very cool. I degrease and spray paint them now. Without paint spots of rust seem to take over. I weld mine open. Never put numbers on them but was thinking about it once I found out my granddaughter and a few other people couldn't tell time without them.
Mine arent welded open, but have a big bolt to keep the pan from dropping. I figured I’d give them a good wipe down with light gun oil and call it good as far as rusting. Heck they can maintain em themselves lol
