putin up some rats

Putting up some fur for a friend. Rats and beaver look really good. He's not doing any coon yet. These rats and beaver come out of the Sugar river and the rats are some real hogs. Green County Pete will know what I'm talking about.

The rats by me are tiny this year.Had 8 in beaver traps traps and all were grey colored but the buyer gave me 4 at rat price and 4 at kit price and I wasn’t going to argue with him.

What's rat price?

$2.00 for adults 50 cents for kits both on carcass.

What's the put up price?

I think they have like 4 or 5 grades and I don’t know the price on any of them.He did say he hasn’t sold any for a few years and will only buy if they’re cheap.

I just got some prices from Dan at Weibkes xxl$4.50 and then down $1 for each grade with 4 total grades.

That dosen't sound too bad. Looks like I have some $3.00 rats And a few $4.00 rats.

Sounds like he expects to sell some this year.
