Ruckus Society Action Boot Camp in MN
August 20, 2010 1:28:08 PM

The Ruckus Society
Advanced Action Boot Camp for Eco-Justice
http://ruckusarticle.php?id=669

“It is no longer optional – we are in that moment of crisis where the
planet is being over-taxed, over-used, and over-trashed. We have to
drastically change the way we think of cities, communities, and our
relationship to the planet, and we cannot wait for permission to do so
from those who don't grasp the coming crisis, or think it won't impact
them. We must stand up now for all people, and for the planet.”

Actually these self righteous wing nuts thrive on hate mongering THE people who use the earth to support life. They also feel they can build up themselves as super heroes by dragging everyone else through the mud & slime.

-Adrienne Maree Brown, Executive Director
The Ruckus Society

Ruckus is proud to announce that our 2010 Action Camp will be focused
on Ecological Justice, and will take place September 15-21 at Harmony
Park in Clarks Grove, MN!

APPLICATIONS DUE FRIDAY, AUGUST 13TH! CLICK HERE TO APPLY NOW!

Action Camp is Ruckus's cornerstone program - where we bring together
activists from all over who have a shared vision, and immerse them in
a week-long training community to learn nonviolent direct action
theory, strategy, planning, and hands-on tactics.

In a post-COP15 world, when it's clear that our world governments
refuse to take meaningful and effective action to avert catastrophic
climate change, Ruckus's Advanced Action Boot Camp for Eco-Justice is
a prime opportunity for us to gather to deepen our skills and hone our
strategy in order to build sustainable and just communities locally
and globally.

This year, we are dedicating our Action Camp to focusing on Advanced
skills for participants who have already completed intro trainings
and/or have action experience.

ALL struggles for justice - meaning, we want folks to apply who are
going to use these skills in action for justice, and we will not be
turning experienced folks away if their work isn't environmentally
focused, though we will seek to align your work with an eco-justice
analysis.

Then your assumption would be wrong as indicated in my pointing out the faults of Ruckus in their premise that all things bad upon this planet are directly linked to humans.

Mira,
When you argue a point, try to use logic in your arguement.
"Actually these self righteous wing nuts thrive on hate mongering THE people who use the earth to support life. They also feel they can build up themselves as super heroes by dragging everyone else through the mud & slime." This says nothing to prove anything, except you think you can convince others by name calling. Ain't saying these people are right, just saying your showing how stupid you are.

Aleman, whats your problem brother? Mira has been keeping us informed of this kind of crap for years. He shure is not stupid. He far exceeds any kind of necessary information that a lot of us would ever get.
Mira thanks again for your information and I would not blame you one bit if you stopped putting your info on this site .

Let us go! Won't be hard to pretend you are a Rucus douche bag for a weekend. Think of all the fun to be had. Castor in the tofu, "essence" squirted in strategic places, a slow rotting carcass in the latrine, blasting a coyote howler at 3AM, etc.

I understand what you meant Mira. They are against using the resources that have been put in place for us to survive and they dislike like those of us who do.I agree,wing-nuts.

a slow rotting carcass in the latrine,

If I choke down a bunch of tofu with bean curd and some bean sprouts you would not need the carcass.
I tried some once over orders from my wife to be polite, the next day she was mad after entering the bathroom behind me,I just laughed and told her that's what you get for making me be polite and eating that garbage...

I guess some folks do not see the logic of that position CLT. It is evident that the wing nuts are hate mongering people who use the earth's bounty to sustain their own lives. That is a logical conclusion when one reads the article I provided . Yet those same folk do not understand their own footprint is built on the premise that humanity is a cancerous blight upon the planet. Realistically nature decides who the winners & losers are in nature. We happen to be a life form that nature might be quite satisfied to use despite the bunny hugger's claims.

I made a obvious point in my statement regarding the reason ruckus do hate monger folks making economic gain on this planet. For that effort you indicate I am stupid and in so doing without any counter debate, you have done what you accused me of. In fact you even went so far as to make the remark that you ain't saying these people are right but that I am stupid for making the point that they are showing themselves to be self righteous hypocrits. In fact their use of the internet in offering their game plan shows how selectively hypocritical they are.

We are as much a part of the environment as any other animal, for us not to participate in the harvest of animals for food and skins is not natural. It is impossible to live your life and not impact your environment,of course these far left zealots would just assume we eradicate ourselves and turn the planet over to the non-thinking animals.Ever see that show on History,Without People? That is like a dream come true for them...

In my opinion the Ruckus zealots are a lot like Adam & Eve when they ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge. They wanted to be like gods as the serpent offered and in so doing would challenge God for His Creation till God decides to end evil. Those poor zealots do not like God for maintaining that all flesh must die & that we be a part of the dying & killing.

I don't have a carbon footprint... I cut my feet off at the ankles and now drive a V-8 wheelchair. Suck on that tailpipe hippies.

I think if all the bunny huggers would conveniently excuse themselves from this planet there would be alot less energy wasted and global warming could be cured.
