That's a great trap, and to tie it to the original owner just adds to it!!!!--------------Tom

Kevin, I live on the West Branch of Pine Creek about 5 miles from one of Mr. Woodcocks camp locations. I was given the book by a friend and was immediately intrigued and set out looking for his camp locations and such being very familiar with the surrounding areas from having grown up and hunting the same areas I found most of the local sites. After about 10 years of searching and talking to several different collectors I was able to track down and purchase one of his traps.

He certainly did, He was fond of the #5 size trap, calling it the perfect size.

That must be your add in the old Pennswoods (Rennig now). Wish I could help but I don't have any of his stuff.
