#7 New House - 06/14/16 04:34 PM
I am not a collector but a user. There is a farm auction this weekend with traps advertised, including 4 # 7 New Houses. That is a new one on me, what can all of you experts tell me about them?
Thanks in advance,
Cooper

Never heard of a # 7 Newhouse. I'm thinking some one isn't reading the pans correctly.

If nobody else has heard of them it has to be something like that. They also listed #3, 4's and 14's so I guess I will have to go and find out.

Let us know what they turn out to be. I'm curious. Thanks.
There is no #7 Newhouse trap.

I agree with Snakecollector.

Nelson-Boode aka Trailzend, but of course, they don't look anything like a Newhouse.

Here is my No. 7 Watkins. I took the photo a couple of years ago when I was doing a inventory of our traps so I don't remember all the details of the trap.

Coonwise had it right, it was a misprint. Turned out to be 7 - 3N's , they had it corrected in the add in yesterday's paper.

If you go to the auction, be sure to check those 3Ns for government stampings.

I believe Walter Ozorowski made a #7 Junction Trader Bear Trap- huge.
