I'm thinking the Wyshinski on the tag is probably Nick Wyshinski. A trapper, supply dealer, fur buyer out of Berwick, PA.

Could be something he came up with. I don't recall ever seeing one before.

I wish the first picture was a bit better. It is rather difficult to know exactly what the setter looks like.

I've seen a couple come up on e-bay. I bid on one and want to think if brought in the $30 range. You might contact Wyshinski and see how many were made. Also that one says Pat Pending so if would be good to know if they received the patent and if they made any with the patent on the tag.
