ID on an old jump trap? - 04/14/18 07:32 PM

While salvaging hand hewn beams from an old building we found this trap nailed to one. Looking at shape of pan I thought Triumph Kangaroo, but the cross frame with hump is different from my other Triumphs. Would like an ID if possible. Seems about #1 1/2 size with a jaw spread of 4 1/2". The pan is pitted bad but I seem to make out T'D just below the rivet. (PAT'D)? Thank you for any info.

Too bad the pan is not readable. This trap is made by Oneida Community but the pan is an odd shape, not like the standard Oneida Jump or Kompack traps.

I agree pan is probably off a triumph. I've had at least three different traps that were long spring #1 with Kompact pans. When a trap was broke the old boys would make them work.
