ok i have a guy who gives my soul rights to his land for trapping and water fowl. he is a big bee keeper and is haveing a beaver problem. is there any way i can get a permit to take care of them. i don't want to let this guy down do to all the things he has done fro me. they are taking down all the trees around his pond and flooding his little creek
my cousin lives on the lake near rochester and sent me pics last week of beaver damage. dec was out there for some marina permits etc...
he showed them the beaver issue and they said "okay, we'll take care of it"
?
not sure what they are going to do for him, Nic Pallo and Albert Burns on this forum are NY folks could probably give the right answer to add to what Ron posted.

The landowner needs to call dec and get a permit then u can trap them on his permit
