Woodchucks can be cooked in a pressure cooker and taste just like beef . For bait it can used fresh or tanted . To tant it . Cut the meat up and place it in a glass jar . Place cheese cloth over the jar and add the lid but don't tighten it . Go dig a 2' hole on the shady side of your house and cover . Dig it up once a week and stir up the bait . After six weeks or till its how you like . When it's just right add in a preservative . We were headed home from the convetion my son starts talking about how he caught this muskrat by the tail . My budy goes well when you catch a mink by his dick lets talk . I about went off the road it was so funny . Then come to find out my budy wasnt making a joke and started talking about how the mink didn't want to move . I had tiers it was so funny

I tried eating a woodchuck one time, even gave it to the Pit-Bulls and they turned it down. If you ever see me trying to eat another one, please slap the taste out of my mouth, and tell me to raise my ADC prices so I can afford real food.
What I see here is two distinctly different opinions: One sees this as ground chuck and the other as woodhog!

Pesky, I caught a possum one time in a #3 by the pouch, and it wasn't a mama possum. No catch circle, no grass wound up in the chain, trap was still in its bed. Only thing it did was poop a little.
Groundhog meat is not bad, that doesn't neccesarily mean it's good. I've got a coyote recipe, hope I never have to use it!

How's a male opossum have a pouch!?...ohhh, that "pouch"...I don't know if 'possums can sweat, but I bet that one was sweating profusely and not moving a muscle till you released it.
