What advantage does COATED wire provide? Setting traps near electricity?

Vinyl coated wire has two good advantages over regular and GAV wire. Vinyl coated wire allows blending the wire installation much better and reduction of corrosion of the wire. Applications of the vinyl wire is a much better choice for ground and under ground installation areas.

I've used some from Fencerwire in addition to the Riverdale wire from Klubertanz. Looks like you are in Iowa so shipping from Klubertanz, in Wisconsin, could be done via Speedee delivery and you'd save a pile in shipping. Riverdale wire is higher quality than Fencerwire (which has free shipping). For my jobs, they both have their place depending on the situation.
