Never seen a beaver dam we could not pull apart by hand. That's the only way we do it and that is all we work with. Had some over 5oo feet long and we get paid by the hour. You figure out where the best money is. Charge a lot to pay for INS. or charge the same and keep it for you. Got 20 years at this and a lot of corp. clients and toy.

Thanks for the info. Don't have a business or anything, just like beaver trapping pretty good and was thinking about maybe finding some people who wanted my service. Saw where people would blowup the (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) sometimes. Been researching licence and what not.

Beaver dam removal is done by hand in WA also,,,,, but! we have to get a hydrological permit,,, that goes though the indians,,...and two other governing bodies..........
then we can not cause significant scaring within the stream bed............
Water can be released at a rate of 1 foot per hour.......
we use a safety monitor as required by the state
my blasting ability is for the ability
With the availability of thermite why bother/

By hand sounds cheaper and a lot less stressful.

Some people hook on with tractor and chains.
People around here don't seem to blow them up anymore.
Hand removal is common. If it's dry, wear a dust mask though.
