Armadillo caging - 10/31/16 12:29 AM

Should I duff in the bottom of my cages. If there had been any handy I would have used it. I can go back later if need be. Thanks

I haven't done this yet, but I will, and that's put a rag/towel on the floor to catch droppings/urine/scent from dillers. I hear that is the ticket for catching more.

Yes, bed your cages so they don't wobble and the wire is covered.
Dillers aren't all that trap shy and bedding isn't required but it should be an ingrained habit to bed all traps well.
it's one of those 5% things.

Thanks fellas. From now on I will duff them in. Aix I've seen that also. I put both of them in a barrel with some moist dirt. Going to freeze me

some diller dirt.

Side note on making armadillo dirt. Cover barrel or critters will escape! In Your yard!

Yep, they can jump pretty high.

A piece of plywood in the bottom will work as well.
