Planning on being there. Always a good time and always go away with something that helps make more money!!!!!

If you are thinking of going, go to www.wctmagazine.com/training.htm. The first part of the page is the Bat Course. You want to scroll down to get to the Annual Training Seminar section, unless of course you want to attend the Bat Training as well.

Do you guys prefer this event to the NWCOA meeting or are they two separate beasts?

Re: WCT Seminar Jan 12 &13...who is going? - 12/14/16 02:12 PM

From my perspective, they are two separate events. The WCT event has a smaller crowd as it is produced for and draws mainly WCO's while the Expo event is a joint project between NWCOA and NPMA. One of the main differences between the two events in regard to credit towards CWCP recognition or renewal is that the Expo and NWCOA events are automatically certified courses while the WCT events are not automatically certified. This means that the WCT events need to be submitted for consideration by anyone wishing to use them for these purposes.

Both events are two days long (Thurs Jan 12 & Fri Jan 13 for WCT and Sun Feb 5 & Mon Feb 6 for Expo) although they may look longer. WCT is holding our Bat Management Short Course on Tues Jan 10 & Weds Jan 11 while NWCOA is holding their Basic Wildlife Control Operator Training Course Fri Feb 3 & Sat Feb 4, Bat Standards Course Sat Feb 4, Bird Barrier Certification Tues Feb 7, and Advanced Wildlife Control Operator Training Course Tues Feb 7 & Weds Feb 8.

More information concerning the WCT Bat Management Short Course and 23rd Annual WCT Wildlife Control Instructional Seminar can be found at http://www.wctmagazine.com/training.htm.

More information concerning the Wildlife Expo, NWCOA Basic Wildlife Control Operator Training Course, NWCOA Bat Standards Course, Bird Barrier Certification Course, and NWCOA Advanced Wildlife Control Operator Training Course at http://nwcoa.com/Wildlife%20Expo%202017%20brochure.pdf.

Had to check on adding another tech for the WCT seminar and found there is a special deal available for anyone who has been procrastinating registering.
Same links as above will work for u.

State affiliates still eligible for reduced prices too.

You should look at the classes being offered by both and decide what would be best for your company. I will be at the WCT Bat short course, but wont be able to make it to the seminars.
