Who left this turd?

Who left this turd? - 07/31/17 03:49 AM

This client hears noises in the attic occasionally. The day I took this pic he heard it at 9 a.m., but has heard it both day and night. Hadn't heard it for a month or so prior to that day. Says it moves around, maybe even runs. I have an idea, and believe I know who left this turd (the only one I found), just looking for confirmation. I did set up this house for what I believed it to be but have caught nothing (which doesn't really surprise me). The client has not heard it since I was there. I should have taken a pic of this next to the few scattered little brown bat droppings that were also there, but didn't think of it.

I'd be thinking flyers. Determining whether Northern /Southern would be hard to tell without tasting it. Picture isn't clear on the phone when enlarged.

Run rat traps and mouse traps

One thing I learned on my very first ADC job

Everything is ten times bigger in the homeowners mind, numours times since that day I have had to tell customers with as much tach as I can that they are enlarging the creature in their mind Including yesterday at a bat job where he insisted several times it was too big to be a bat or mouse.

I'm thinking flyers too. I agree MT, things are always bigger in people's minds. I set a weasel box with a rat trap next to the one way to catch things on the outside. I think I will seal it up in a few days as long as the client doesn't hear anything.

T25, actually.

I still struggle with rodent turds. Red, gray, flyer, I just don't see enough to get good at it. And when I do see them in a situation where I know who left it, I can't compare because I don't have any thing to compare to.

Not sure I've ever seen a chipmunk or striped gopher calling card...
