Barn rat biology - 08/30/17 11:54 PM

I'm hope you don't get tired of my rat threads. My question is this, What is the difference between a roof rat and an immature norway? I've read the rat book at my local library- but it didn't answer my question. Thanks.

Maybe this link will help you. There is a great rodent book that may be of help too.

Well, two entirely different species. Different abilities, different lives.

Typically a roof rat will have a tail that is longer than its head and body. A Norway rat's tail is equal or shorter than its head and body.
