Upgrading traps, what are you using? - 09/07/17 04:51 AM

Hi there!

It's time for me to upgrade my yote (cage) traps. Our yotes are on the smaller size, generally from 20 to 35 pounds.

I'd love to find something durable enough to take a beating, but light enough that I don't need two people to lift it when empty.

Id love to hear what's working best for you...thanks!

Are you have success in trapping coyote in cages? What size cage are you looking for?

Yes, I do. My current traps have taken a beating, I've had them for more than 10 years. I'm looking for coyote traps.

You might want to get in touch with ADC trappers from Washington State or Colorado. They are both cage only states. Advance Trap out of Georgia has some traps for coyote and Comstock traps from NY makes some big ones. How you set up and bait will determine which will work for you.
