How to build cage trap?

Does anyone know how to build wire cage traps or plastic live traps for skunks or coons?

search horse panel cage trap on youtube, not sure if that is the same link the LAtrapper has posted, but the guy building these traps keeps it simple. If you can weld then these cage traps would be a breeze. Hope this helps.

Buy a quality trap for coon. They will tear a poorly made trap apart. Then you have to catch a trapsmart soon. That isn't fun, or easy.

IMO no need to build plastic skunk traps. Cage trap with a piece of rubber or w/e you desire draped over the cage is plenty. People will argue that but knowing how to handle skunks will be key. If you're going to make a raccoon trap and you're planning on using a locking system like havahart, safeguard, or any traditional swing door trap. Be sure that your locking rods are durable, if a raccoon can slip their paws out from under the door and that door gives, it will get out. They are very strong animals for their size. JMO, IMHO..Good Luck!

Why build a trap?

Williams makes a good cheap trap that last. My time is better spent making$$$$.
