Were overrun with pack rats. They are in the garden, in the yard eating the rose bushes, in the barn making piles of crap. I have tried to poison them, they just take the blocks to their piles and stash em but dont eat em. I have 110 conis but dont know how I ought to set em up, or if they will even work. I had some luck catching em in small cages, using apple slices for bait, but that strategy quit working.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Make up some weasel boxes and put some rat snap traps in them. They work well, just place them around their foraging areas and keep moving them as needed once you clean an area out pretty good. They will investigate all new things placed in their environment.
I don't know your laws in your state, but that is something that you should check into as to what is legal there. Small cages work well also I have found.
Secure your bait blocks so they can't run away with them. Make them eat them there.
Use large rat traps baited with peanut butter or cheese. You can use sticky traps but you would have to secure them. Get some cats, they'll definitely take care of the problem!
You can get lots of cats off
www.craigslist.com. #0 long springs will work too!

Weasel style boxes are great because you can design them to your needs with hole variations of entry exit points.

Caught a good many out in AZ using just a Victor Rat trap and anything edible.
I wired mine using a long thin wire.
That way, they flop around , but don't go far.
