I have a call from a woman who has a fox with a possible family living under her house. She has two dogs so any type of foothold or bodygrip is out of the question. Is it possible to catch them in a live trap? I'd appreciate any ideas you may have based on your experience.

Fox are easy to move. Haze them then exclude like you would a ground hog or skunks.
RF, What to you mean by haze them?

Harass them, disturb the den area. dig up a little dirt, spray some K-9 urine, Dog feces right in the hole, etc. They'll scoot pretty quick.

Footholds are live traps.
Thanks for the advice Bob. I'll get to harassing them.
You're correct Warrior, footholds are live traps. My mistake and I'll change that to cage traps if it comes up in the future although I'm sure you know what I was talking about.
I did catch one pup fox in the cage trap and after seeing it, the owner decided to let it go back into the den. They have decided they'll just live with them for now. Thanks to all of you who have offered some advice.
