Paper less office

Hello All,

I would like to become paper less.

If you are paperless.

What programs do you use?

Do you have clients sign contract on tablets?

Please give me pointers if you can.

I sometimes use texting to update landowners on my progress. It works good...I can even include a picture.

I’m starting to ask if I can email invoices. Most jump at the chance. My invoices are Microsoft Word templates, just “save as” .pdf prior to sending. Not only cuts down on paper, but ink, envelopes, and stamps too. Don’t know why I haven’t been doing this all along.

We were happy with Jobber at getjobber.com. Recently made the move to gorilladesk.com when we added pest control and needed to track chemical usage.

I keep catch records in the 'Notes' section on my smart phone. Sometimes it is easier than making paper notes in the field.
