NoMol Trap Question

I just bought a case, 64, of NoMol traps because I heard so many good things about them, and the OOS traps are now near impossible to find for a reasonable price. When I got them in the mail today, I looked at them and set one, and looking at the trap, the jaws just seem too narrow for a mole. Where I am I feel like we have some magnums. Has anyone else thought the same thing, or had issues regarding that with them?

No, like any trap you can have one trip now and then. I also use Steve A. traps. I like the NO-Mole in real sandy soil.

They will fit in the traps. I've caught star nosed moles by the tip of the nose and held them. Dont sweat it.

To the Original Poster...Yeah, sure have thought that and had a lot of misfires using them.
Killed a lot of shrews though, accidentally.
